ATR’s fleet arrived in Lisbon Cascais

The ATR fleet crossed the Bay of Biscayne between the low pressure weather systems of October. The Grand Surprise arrived without difficulty at the Cascais marina near Lisbon, and are now available for sailing in the beautiful waters at the entrance of the Tage.
Lisbon is a well known destination for corporate events, and very easy to access by plane. Many low cost airways fly to Lisbon from Paris and London (ex : Monarch and EasyJet).

The “Droit au lof”, The Legal sector Regatta in Britanny mid May 2006

The Droit au Lof is a corporate regatta for students and professionals of the Legal sector. The 2005 edition was won by the crew of the Lawyers Club of Rennes ( “Barreau de Rennes”). Who will be the winner in 2006 ??? Join up with a team or as a single and participate the weekend of May 13th.

The 2006 Finan S Cup in Lisbon early May 2006 !

This event is for everyone involved in the finance world. Last year’s winner was the crew from JP Morgan, followed by the teams from Private Equity and BNP Paribas. After a successful edition of the Finan S Cup organised in la Trinité in collaboration with Team Winds, the Finan S Cup is going to have an international twist in 2006, and will take place in Lisbon/ Cascais May 6 - 8. Book your low cost air flights (Monarch from London, Easyjet from Paris) as soon as possible in order to get the best fares.

The Grand Surprise Class at the Spi Ouest France at Easter :
the real One Design regatta

The Spi Ouest France 2005, the biggest regatta in France with 500 boats, had 31 Grand Surprise participate and there will be even more in 2006 since 40 Grand Surprise are expected !
The one design class confirmed its takeoff.
Atlantique Temps Réel has today a fleet of 20 one design Grand Surprise in La Trinité and 10 in Lisbon-Cascais and is therefore a major player within this dynamic class.
The Grand Surprise pleases sailors, as it is easy to handle for corporate regattas, as well as for the different stages of the Atlantic Trophy.
The big meetings of the class this year are :
- Spi Ouest France : Easter weekend in la Trinité with around 40 boats
- Edhec Student Race : end of April in La Rochelle
- French Nationals : mid July, in Pornic near Nantes, Ouest of France
- Various corporates regattas in la Trinité and Lisbon, in Spring anf Fall

Bord de Santé, Regatta for the Medical sector in Lisbon in 2006

This year, the Bord de Santé, will take place in Lisbon-Cascais the first week end of September. In 2005 this event took place in la Trinité and saw different actors of the medical sector participate : doctors, dentists, physical therapists, and a few pharmacists, all together on Atlantique Temps Réel’s one design Grand Surprise boats. The SNT (Yacht Club of la Trinité) organized the race on the sea. With sunny weather and light wind conditions, Olympic race courses as well as inshore races were held on the beautiful site of the Bay of Quiberon, with stops for a picnic lunch. During the week end, the program was also ponctuated with medical information, spurring much interest among the different competitors. The various topics concerned health and sea : “medical support and physical preparation for the French America’s Cup team” with Dr Lambert, “Medecins Sans Frontières” (Doctors without Boarders) about medical service in deprived situations, and finally “Nutrition and eating at sea”, and the traditional information concerning sea sickness.
It is sure that the 2006 edition in Lisbon will attract lots of participants !
